What is Right to Manage?
Under the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002, leaseholders have the legal right to take over management of their building from the landlord โ without having to prove mismanagement and without paying compensation.
You qualify if: At least 50% of flats are leasehold ยท At least 2/3 of leaseholders participate ยท Building is not a converted house with 4 or fewer flats where the freeholder lives
